Late Starter Musician

Welcome to the New LSM!

Jasmine Reese, LSM Founder and Editor

Hey Everybody,

It’s been long awaited, and the new LSM is finally here!  I am so ecstatic to start sharing my own musical adventures with all of you and also hearing about yours.  I hope this community can encourage us all to reach our goals.

For my blog, “Jasmine’s Violin Adventures,”  I hope to keep you up-to-date on my life as a student violinist.  I will put violin interviews, videos and other cool stuff here. So be sure to visit my profile page and add me as a friend!

As a side note, you do not need to be a violinist to share and comment on my blog.  We may play different instruments, but we all share the same passion–music.

Until next time…

Jasmine, thank you for all you’ve done to get this together! I will try to do what I can to help, but at this time, I have too many life interruptions inserting themselves into my day. I am eager to read more and write more.

You know what? I got hooked on this site…yesterday I logged on and wrote an introduction. Evidently, I wasn’t logged on after all and my words went into cyberspace. If I don’t find anything, I’ll try another post.

    Hi Jasmine,

Well, I made it! I can’t believe all the different ways there are to communicate. The computer has changed everything, technology. Isn’t it great?!
I’m trying diligently to learn to play the violin. I’m learning that what it takes more than anything is persistence!! And, I can do it attitude. I’m not surprised there aren’t a lot of professional violinists out there. I can’t believe what it takes to become one. I would have given anything to have started learning to play the violin when I was a young child. Oh well, better late than never! I actually find it challenging to see how much I can learn, being a late learner. I bet when it’s all said and done, I will do great! I believe. You must believe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
